Jackel structural foam basins are molded from HDPE as a single piece, making them exceptionally strong and durable, with threaded inserts molded in so the cover screws down securely. The line includes compact sump basins for crawl space and utility pump systems, and sewage basins for residential sewage ejector systems.
What is the difference between a sump basin and a sewage basin?
A sump basin, or sump pit, collects groundwater and drainage water so a sump pump can discharge it. A sewage basin collects wastewater from plumbing fixtures below the sewer line and uses a sealed cover with a vent connection so a sewage ejector pump can pump it out safely.
Is a sump liner the same as a sump basin?
Yes. Sump liner, sump pit and sump basin all describe the container installed below the floor that houses the sump pump. We supply them in both poly and structural foam.
Can I get a cover to fit my existing basin?
Usually. Send us the basin's inside diameter and bolt pattern and we will match a poly, steel, structural foam or clear cover to it.
Do you supply the pump and alarm too?
